About the event
Join the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University basketball teams downtown for an exciting outdoor preseason fan experience! Meet the players, enjoy live entertainment, participate in interactive games, and watch you favorite athletes compete in basketball activities. Don't miss this fun-filled event as we lay a basketball court on the Denton Square.
The event is free and open to the public. Mean Green fans, you don't want to miss this opportunity to meet this years teams and get a preview of what will be an exciting 2024-25 season of UNT basketball!
Open Court: 5pm-6pm
TWU Event: 6pm-7pm
UNT Event: 7pm-8pm
In addition, Elm, Oak, and Hickory Streets around the square will be closed on the day of the event from 5 am to approximately 10 pm.
