David Bayon is a Denton-based artist and designer specializing in custom toys, scale models, and diorama design. Drawing from 80s–90s hip hop, retro aesthetics, and Denton’s local lore, his work reimagines pop culture with a distinctive DIY spirit. His pieces blur the line between nostalgia and new myth-making.

The City of Denton is proud to have a powerhouse of creatively talented staff. Our in-house teams create and promote Denton Halloween, including the Parks Department, Denton Television, the Marketing and Communications Department, and the Tourism board. In addition to our teams working directly on the Denton Halloween project, other staff across the entire organization contribute their unique skills outside their usual role to contribute to the festivities. Our staff includes artists, actors, muralists, musicians, voice actors, 3D printers, model painters, and more.
