Both paid and public parking options are available during Denton Halloween. For events on the square, detailed parking information, including free and paid options, is available on Denton Mainstreet’s website.. Businesses outside the square will offer their usual parking arrangements.

Downtown Denton, Texas, is compact and walkable, covering an area of approximately 1.5 square miles. Many of our Halloween activities are downtown, centering around the historic Denton County Courthouse on the Square. The area includes historic buildings, local businesses, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.

AIR: The closest major airport to Denton is Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), about 30 miles away (35–45 minutes by car). From DFW, you can rent a car, take a rideshare, or use public transit by connecting to the DART Orange Line and transferring to the A-train, which stops in Downtown Denton.

DRIVING: Driving from Dallas or Fort Worth is straightforward via I-35E or I-35W, with Denton about 40–45 minutes from both cities.

TRAIN: For train travel, the A-train (Denton County Transportation Authority) connects Denton to the DART Green Line in Carrollton, making it a convenient option for traveling to and from Dallas. If arriving by Amtrak, the nearest station is in Fort Worth, about 45 minutes away by car. Denton is well-connected and easy to reach, whether flying, taking the train, or driving.
