The North Texas Ghost Busters Set Up Shop at Discover Denton

The North Texas Ghostbusters (NTXGB) are back in action this October! There’s no need to fear spectral phenomenon, pesky poltergeists, or gloomy ghosts with them keeping Denton safe.  


The official NTXGB headquarters has re-opened as of October 1, taking over the Discover Denton Visitors Center for the entire month. It’s your go-to haunt during the 31 Days of Halloween. 


Last year, the headquarters was the ultimate destination—not just for dodging Slimer or other spooky apparitions, but for scoring exclusive Ghostbusters gear. T-shirts flew off the shelves, and this year’s merch is disappearing just as fast. Don’t miss your chance to grab yours! 


Visitors can also dive into the supernatural by playing the brand-new NTX Ghostbusters video game. Designed by fellow Ghostbuster Zach Hidalgo, the game stars NTXGB President Chris Uzzle as he battles his way through a haunted hotel in search of ghostly foes. 


The NTX Ghostbusters logged over 1,500 volunteer hours during last year’s Halloween festivities, and they’re back again with even more community spirit. Catch them at events throughout the month, including official meet-and-greets and autograph signings across downtown Denton. 


The NTX Ghosbusters are scheduled to appear at the following locations throughout the rest of the month: 


  • 10/17 - Discover Denton Free Beer Friday 

  • 10/18 - Every Witch Way Market on Austin Street 

  • 10/18 - Meet & Greet at Denton HQ 

  • 10/19 - Para Hunter Investigation at Oakwood Cemetary 

  • 10/24 - Discover Denton Free Beer Friday 

  • 10/25 - Coffin Races at Day of the Dead Festival 

  • 10/26 - Meet & Greet at Denton HQ
